Julius the Baby of the World
Here is my dramatic reading of Julius the Baby of the World (abridged) by Kevin Henkes that I performed as my talent in the Miss Brenau competition. Reading aloud has always been very dear to my family, and a talent I was happy to share with my friends during the competition.

Yophoric Yumminess
My visits to GA Tech always involve some exploration of the local eateries with Cam.
Two weekends ago we tried out Yophoria: a fancy-pants-top-your-own frozen yogurt shop.
Not to brag, but my concoction rivaled the best recipes brought to us by Marble Slab Creamery.
I'm sure that I looked a little dazed and confused at the myriad of options and lack of fro-yo security. Did I just walk up and get it? Was that stealing? So the owner kindly showed me the yo-ropes. Grab a little cup or a a small sauce pan, you weren't charged on the container, but on the amount of poundage you piled on your dessert. There were all manner of toppings including Capn' Crunch and nerds, but I opted for the following:
Honey
Pecans
Granola
Caramel
Coconut
White Chocolate Chips
on
Cookies n'Cream Yogurt
Before you turn your nose in disgust at all these toppings being placed on an oreo-based yogurt, I will tell you that there were no chunks of cookie in the yogurt. It was all a finely mixed sweet cream.
So decadent.
