Elderberry Jam

After back-to-back work out classes at the local gym, my aunt and I hobbled around the kitchen making Elderberry Jam.  Allow me some artistic license here: elderberries make such a lovely color.  
We used a potato masher to smush the berries.
This is the niftiest tool: it's like a funnel made specifically for canning.  We used it for the pickles the other day.
What a beautiful jewel tone!
